    "text": "Taking down a tree with a backhoe. I read a book that talked about how humans are natural regulators - even little kids will attempt to enforce the \"right way\" to do things they\u0027ve observed, taking into account competence and in or out group status. When you see a construction guy just smashing a tree with no permit or plan, it definitely triggers that reaction. What I take from this is that the urge to stop people from doing things not specifically allowed is so strong, and so hard to block once it gets going, that we have set up the general concept of freedom to protect it.",
